Wuhan Polar Ocean Park
Recently, Philippe Vallette, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the International Aquarium Congress (IAC), announced that Wuhan Polar Ocean Park, a subsidiary of China GCC Group, will be the host of the 13th IAC Conference in 2027. This is the second time this international scientific event has landed in China after Shanghai in 2008.
Wuhan has abundant aquatic biological research resources and scientific research cultural heritage. Since its opening in September 2011, Wuhan Polar Ocean Park, after 11 years of operation and development, has become the largest marine-themed integrated resort in central China and a representative of urban tourism landmarks. Wuhan Polar Ocean Park also has rich experience in hosting international conferences, and ranks among the top domestically in terms of the size of the aquarium, the population and water volume, as well as biological display and conservation and breeding technology.
