Malaysia reopens ornamental fish export market

Dato' Anan Hushen, Senior Director of the Biosecurity Department of the Malaysian Fisheries Department, pointed out that as China has reopened the ornamental fish market in July, it is now a good time for our country's dragon fish to enter the Chinese market again, and the industry is urged to seize the opportunity.

myGAP certification is implemented in the agricultural sector, including planting, aquaculture and breeding. It is still voluntary at present, but if the industry wants to export fish to some countries such as Australia, South Korea, and Gulf countries, the Fisheries Bureau also encourages them to apply for the above certification.
