FINA changed its name to "World Aquatics"

On December 12, the day before the start of the 2022 FINA World Swimming Championships (25m), the International Swimming Federation (FINA) announced that it would change its name to "World Aquatics" at the 2022 special session held in Melbourne, Australia. The new name and new LOGO would be officially launched in January 2023.

FINA is an international sports organization responsible for the management of swimming water sports (swimming, diving, synchronized swimming, water polo, open water swimming). It was founded in London, England, in 1908, and its headquarters is in Lausanne, Switzerland.
