ITRI (Industrial Technology Research Institute) displayed an AI aquarium, which uses a highly transparent AMOLED touch display with a penetration rate of 70%, dynamic object recognition and pointing interaction technology.
Visitors only need to click on the fish species they are interested in in the aquarium, and the system can make judgments based on the direction of the visitor's gaze and gestures, and provide corresponding interactive information on the transparent aquarium.
Liu Dewen, dean of the ITRI, said that the AI Aquarium integrates technologies such as intelligent display, AI recognition, and human-computer interaction. In addition to being entertaining and educational, the technology could also be used for other purposes, such as surgical simulations for medical training.
