National level! The construction of the fishing port economic zone in Panyu District is being orderly promoted

Panyu Fishing Port Economic Zone belongs to the Pearl River Estuary Fishing Port Economic Zone in the National Coastal Fishing Port Construction Plan. The total output of marine products in the Pearl River Estuary Fishing Port Economic Zone is 117500 tons, with 2692 marine fishing boats and 9 large and small fishing ports, including 1 central fishing port (Guangzhou Lianhuashan Central Fishing Port), 3 secondary fishing ports, and 5 tertiary and lower fishing ports. During the planning period, based on the central fishing port of Guangzhou Lianhuashan, we will promote the formation of a fishing port economic zone featuring fishery production, aquatic product processing, leisure fishery, coastal tourism, etc. On June 10, 2022, Panyu Fishing Port Economic Zone was unveiled, marking the official launch of the national pilot project.
