Hainan explores new ways to play water sports

At the end of the year, water sports events such as the National Water Skiing Championships, the National Surfing Championships, the National Paddle Tournament (Hainan Station), the National Sailing Championships and the Asian Games Training Team Trials have been staged throughout Hainan.

Hainan has rich rivers, lakes and sea resources, pleasant weather conditions in four seasons, and many national water sports bases. Over the years, it has attracted many high-level competitive competitions and has gradually become a domestic water sports resort. The old projects such as sailing and windsurfing are moving from the minority to the public in Hainan, and the emerging projects such as surfing, paddling, canoeing, motorboat and water skiing are rapidly gathering popularity.
