Doumen: Promote leisure and cultural tourism through fishing competitions

In 2022, Doumen District of Zhuhai City will develop rapidly, and the tigers will flourish. The total output value of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery in the district will be 8.39 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 10.0%, which is the first time since 2006 that the growth rate has exceeded double digits; 10,000 tons, an increase of 8.9% year-on-year; the sales of 37 prefabricated vegetable enterprises including Qiangjing Group, Zhuhai Yiyiyu, and Jiyuan Aquatic Products were 1.333 billion yuan, an increase of 85% year-on-year.

With a forward-looking strategic layout, Doumen extends the fishery industry chain, and launches the top ten compound fishing bases in Doumen District, which integrate sightseeing, fishing, catering, fishing gear and equipment, etc., empowering Zhuhai to become an international fishing capital.
