Sysco stops sourcing items directly from Russia

Seafood processors around the world are scrambling to find alternatives to Russian-produced seafood following the February 24 conflict between Russia and Ukraine. Just days before the U.S. president announced a ban on all imports of Russian seafood, Sysco pledged not to source Russian products. A number of other retailers have made similar pledges, including British retailer Morrisons and German retailers Lidl and Kaufland, among others.
