Bing Xuwen, Deputy Director of the Freshwater Fisheries Research Center of the Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences, said that so far, China has trained more than 3180 senior fishery technology and management talents for 56 African countries, and has sent more than 40 experts to serve as expert consultants in fisheries and aquaculture in more than 10 African countries, making positive contributions to the improvement of local aquaculture technology and industrial development.
Eritrean student Zevidi Haile Obatu stated that he came to China in September 2023 to pursue a master's degree. He has learned a lot of new things here that Eritrea does not have. There are many new technologies, teaching methods, and aquaculture methods here, especially the circular aquaculture system.
