The 2024 China International Fisheries Expo (Qingdao) has come to a successful conclusion. This not only marks the in-depth connection between the Canadian seafood industry and the Chinese market, but also an important exchange for the global seafood industry. This exhibition is not only a platform for displaying products, but also a grand event for exploring future development trends.

The Atlantic region of Canada is the main production area of the traditional North Atlantic fishing grounds, and it is rich in many seafood products that are popular in the Chinese market, including Canadian lobster, Arctic sweet shrimp, and Atlantic salmon. There are also many seafood that appear on the tables of Chinese consumers, but everyone does not know that they are from this sea area, such as sea cucumbers, capelin, snow crabs, Greenland halibut, etc.

A total of 21 seafood companies from the Atlantic region of Canada participated in the exhibition, bringing 22 varieties of seafood products to everyone.

The 2024 Canadian Seafood Summit, held at the same time as the exhibition, brought together professionals from the Canadian government, associations, seafood companies and the Chinese seafood industry. At the forum, the guests gave an in-depth introduction to the market trends and sustainable development strategies of the Canadian seafood industry. The "Atlantic Seafood of Canada" brand was also one of the highlights of the forum. Ms. Pan Tao, a member of the Brand Management Committee, officially released the brand to the Chinese market at the forum, allowing more Chinese seafood people to understand the unique geographical environment of the Atlantic region of Canada and its sustainable seafood resources.

In addition, in order to let more people know about Canada's high-quality seafood resources, "Atlantic Seafood of Canada" also set up an online exhibition session during the exhibition. Through the "Atlantic Seafood of Canada" video live broadcast platform, Chinese seafood people and consumers can stay at home and see the style of the Canadian Pavilion and Atlantic companies.
