Doug Grant founded a healthcare company a few years ago. That entrepreneurship failed, but he tried again and founded a fintech company.
The second entrepreneurship also failed. But today, Grant regrouped and was full of confidence. He said that his new entrepreneurial philosophy truly reflects his core qualities. This is a startup company that will sell seafood products produced using biotechnology, providing potential restaurant customers with healthy menu ingredients. The production method of this product can protect fish populations and reduce carbon emissions from industrial fishing. Grant's passion stems from his love for the ocean while fishing along the Gulf Coast of Alabama in his youth.
Grant said, "This is not just a business idea... it's not just about making money. You can create a lot of things in the world, but you can't create more oceans.
In October, Grant's Atlantic Fish Co. introduced its protein rich bioengineered sea bass to potential customers and plans to start selling the product to restaurants within the next two years.
