Honduran white shrimp officially enters the Chinese market

Honduran white shrimp enjoys a high reputation in the international market for its excellent quality and unique taste. Less than three months after the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Honduras, thanks to the active promotion and efficient cooperation of the two governments, Honduran white shrimp successfully obtained the access to China. The first launch at Wumart is another important achievement of the pragmatic advancement of China-Honduras economic and trade cooperation, and also a new starting point for the cooperation between the two countries in the field of agricultural product trade.

It is reported that after this batch of Honduran white shrimp arrived at the Chinese port at the end of September this year, it quickly passed customs smoothly under the front-line service and active docking of customs and other relevant departments. The Honduran Embassy also provided great assistance in this process to ensure that the white shrimp could enter the Chinese market smoothly.

At the promotion meeting, Salvador Moncada, Ambassador of Honduras to China, said that the entry of Honduran white shrimp into the Chinese market is a historic moment and a new starting point for economic and trade cooperation between the two countries. He looks forward to more business cooperation between China and Honduras in the future and jointly promoting the further development of bilateral trade relations. At the same time, he also appreciated the zero tariff policy provided by China, believing that this provides strong support for Honduran agricultural products to enter the Chinese market.
