Chentao Seafood was established in 2014 and is mainly engaged in the import and export of frozen seafood.
The scarcity of global aquatic resources is a common phenomenon nowadays, and various types of squid that were once favored by domestic importers have become "rare treasures". Frozen fish suitable for the domestic market and processing plants are also in short supply. Trading companies that mainly rely on imports undoubtedly run the risk of being left idle if they continue to follow the established procedures without any creativity. To survive, it is necessary to constantly open up new product import paths.
This year, after gaining a deep understanding of the market situation of shark fin, we also made a bold attempt to import 50 tons of shark fin from the United States in two batches, with formal customs clearance procedures that meet market demand. In previous years, the few shark fins we knew about in the market mainly came from Russia, but we were the first in the country to import this product from the United States, which can be considered as a unique approach and superior quality. In the future, we will continue to explore various new products to adapt to changes in global resources, establish a foothold in the market, and open up a unique import path with our own characteristics.
