In 2021, Kyrgyzstan's fish exports doubled year-on-year
In 2021, Kyrgyzstan exported more than 5000 tons of fish, mainly carp and salmon. In 2021, 10344 tons of commercial fish were produced, doubling year-on-year (5134 tons in 2020).
The Japanese Fisheries Agency announced in the early morning of the 23rd that the Japanese Russian fishery negotiations on salmon and trout born in Russian rivers have been settled. With regard to the catch of Japanese fishing vessels in Japan's exclusive economic zone (EEZ) around Hokkaido in 2022, the two sides agreed to ensure that the total amount of salmon and trout is 2,050 tons at the same level as last year.
