Fuxi-1 officially put into operation

Fuxi-1 is located in the central area of Houhu Wind Farm, about 11 kilometers away from the Shanwei coast. It consists of two parts: the main structure of the net cage and the upper platform. The main structure of the net cage is 70 meters long and 35 meters wide, with approximately 60,000 cubic meters of aquaculture water. The platform relies on green energy supply and is equipped with intelligent fishery aquaculture facilities such as application green energy guarantee, automatic feeding, water quality monitoring, water surface monitoring, net washing machine, and fish suction pump.

In the initial stage, the annual production of high-quality marine fish is about 900 tons, with an output value of about 54 million yuan, creating about 200 job opportunities for the local area; After 3 years of production, a wind fishing integration demonstration cluster will be formed, consisting of "offshore wind power+deep-sea aquaculture+ecological gain+leisure tourism", with a comprehensive annual output value of about 450 million yuan, creating about 800 job opportunities for the local area; After 5 years of production, the Shanwei Wind and Fishery Integration Modern Ocean Pasture Industrial Park will form a complete marine economic industry chain, with an expected comprehensive annual output value of billions, creating over 10,000 job opportunities for the local area and becoming a new highlight of the development of the marine economy in Guangdong Province and even the whole country.
