Recently, 8.4 tons of frozen king crabs from Chile have successfully cleared customs under the supervision of Tianjin Xingang Customs. These king crabs will be quickly released into major supermarkets and seafood markets in the Beijing Tianjin Hebei region, and served on the dining tables of consumers.

The southern coastline of Chile is long and winding, with small islands and bays densely covered. There are large areas of pure, zero pollution cold water, which is very suitable for the growth of king crabs. Chile is far away from China, and fresh products are not easy to transport. Usually, Chilean king crabs in the domestic market are sold in a frozen state and are also very popular in the market, "said Miao Zhixian, the customs manager of Haiyujia International Trade.
