Pangdonglai issued a refund notice
After nearly two months, Pangdonglai rewarded the complainant with 100,000 yuan again. Last time it was due to the 'rolling dough incident', and this time it is due to the phenomenon of overnight repackaging sales of salmon.
On the evening of August 24th, Pangdonglai issued a refund notice regarding the sale of overnight imported salmon sashimi: On August 19th, 2024, the Life Square store of Pangdonglai Supermarket in Xinxiang received feedback from customers that there was a phenomenon of overnight repackaging of imported salmon sashimi sold in Japanese style boxes at the sushi counter of the supermarket. After receiving customer feedback, the supermarket department attached great importance to it and immediately removed all sushi counter products from the shelves and launched an investigation. The staff involved in the incident did not strictly follow the reporting standards for destruction.
Provide compensation to relevant consumers: reward 100,000 yuan in cash to customers who complain; Customers who purchased imported salmon sashimi on August 15th, August 17th, and August 19th receive a refund and compensation of 1,000 yuan per person.
On June 27th this year, Pangdonglai announced in the early morning that it would reward reported customers with 100,000 yuan, refund relevant customers a total of 8.83 million yuan in compensation, terminate the contract with the merchant, and dismiss or dismiss the relevant responsible persons.
