In the more than three years when Australian lobsters were absent from China, ASEAN countries finally have the opportunity to "seize" this big cake, and due to lower prices, they are gradually replacing the position of Australian lobsters.

The latest data shows that in the first nine months of this year, China's imports of lobsters from Vietnam increased 33 times year-on-year.
According to the General Administration of Customs of China, the total import value of Vietnamese lobster from January to September this year was 205.87 million US dollars, an increase of 3285% compared to the first nine months of last year, accounting for 37% of the total shipment volume.

Although there are reports that China is about to restart the import of Australian lobsters, industry insiders say that Australian lobsters have been absent from the Chinese market for too long, and those who want to regain the market will face extremely fierce competition.
