In the golden autumn season, in the waters near the Kamchatka Peninsula in Russia's Far East, fishing boats of the Russian Crab Industry Group are working hard in the wind and waves. The staff collects the nets, selects, processes, packs, and stores the king crabs in preparation for shipment. The entire process is carried out in an orderly manner on the fishing boat...

A gray high-rise building stands on the western coast of Vladivostok, a city in Russia's Far East. In the center of the round plaque above the building's entrance is a red and white crab. This is the office building of the Russian Crab Industry Group. As one of the largest crab fishing companies in Russia, the group currently has 39 fishing vessels and 2,500 crew members, and its annual catch accounts for about a quarter of the total catch in the Far East waters.

Yulia Yurov, vice president of the group, said that China's crab consumption is growing rapidly. Last year, the Russian Crab Group exported 3,000 tons of king crabs to China, and this year it is expected to reach 5,100 tons. More than 90% of the world's king crabs are produced in Russia. September to December each year is the most suitable fishing season for king crabs. Live crabs and frozen crabs are mainly sold in the Chinese market.

"Chinese consumers love our products, and we are very optimistic about the development potential of the Chinese market, especially the growing consumer demand in inland cities. We believe that through the cooperation and support between China and Russia, the future trade prospects will be even broader," said Yulia Yurova, vice president of the Russian Crab Group.
