"4 out of every 5 king crabs come from Jilin"
This topic has recently become a hot search
Why can Jilin, which is not close to the sea, help Chinese people achieve king crab freedom and occupy the seafood table of Chinese people?
With the arrival of autumn, it is the most plump season for crabs. At the Hunchun Port between China and Russia, trucks loaded with various seafood such as Russian king crabs, hairy crabs, and crabs are constantly flowing. After being distributed in Hunchun, they are immediately transported to all parts of the country by air logistics.
As a province not close to the sea, Jilin has become a leading seafood province.
Jilin, which has achieved king crab freedom, has also attracted the attention of official media. Xinhua News Agency reported that the Hunchun Port between China and Russia is only 42 kilometers away from the Russian Port of Posyet and 71 kilometers away from the Zarubino Port. In 2016, the Hunchun Port was officially approved as a designated port for importing chilled seafood and edible aquatic animals, becoming the main channel for Russian king crabs to enter China.
As an important channel for Jilin Province to integrate into the "Belt and Road Initiative", there are many natural non-freezing ports around Hunchun, and the adjacent Russian seafood resources are rich. In order to ensure the survival rate and freshness of imported king crabs, Hunchun Customs has opened a green channel for the customs clearance of imported fresh aquatic products, providing 7×24-hour inspection and release services, accepting appointments all day, and inspecting and releasing goods as soon as they arrive, in order to speed up the customs clearance of imported fresh aquatic products.
