On October 25th, the 33rd China Chef Festival and 2024 China Chef Festival Expo opened at the Yibin International Convention and Exhibition Center.

The Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute is a public agency established by the Alaska government in 1981 to promote and market Alaska's seafood products. The Institute was jointly established with the Alaska seafood industry, the Alaska state government, and the federal government to promote Alaska's seafood products in 30 countries across the United States and globally.

The sockeye salmon (Oncorhynchus nerka), also called red salmon, is distributed in the North Pacific Ocean. Alaska red salmon rank second in production among Pacific salmon. Red salmon is named after its deep red flesh. Throughout the entire cooking process, it maintains a prominent deep red color, providing a huge visual experience for people. It is known for its rich and heavy flavor. The average weight is about 6 pounds, and it can grow up to 3 feet. Red salmon is blue-green in color, with small black spots on the surface of the tail, silver on the bottom, and no large spots on the back.
