The Japan Fisheries Agency appointed a support team on the 2nd to promote "Fish Day" from the 3rd to the 7th of each month to promote fish consumption. The support team consists of 6 female artists and will introduce the charm of fish and shellfish through social platforms (SNS) and activities. Japan's seafood, which has been struggling due to shrinking domestic consumption and China's sweeping import freeze, will help boost fish consumption.
