The Food Safety Center has tested the radiation levels of 259 food samples of "aquatic products and their products, seaweed and sea salt" imported from Japan, and no radiation levels exceeding safety standards were found.

Argentina's exports of sea products to China almost doubled between September 2023 and July 2024. Indonesia's exports to the Chinese market have also increased significantly by 42%, while the UK's exports have grown by around 150%.
