The first batch of value-added goods processed by the sea cucumber processing production base were successfully declared and cleared out of the area

Hainan Huanxi Import and Export Trading  resumed work as soon as possible after the typhoon disaster. On September 11th, the dry sea cucumber produced by the company successfully cleared customs and left the area. This batch of goods enjoys the policy of processing value-added domestic sales without tariffs, and is exempt from import tariffs of about 270000 yuan.

Hainan Huanxi is one of the earliest enterprises to enjoy the benefits of duty-free processing value-added policies. Successfully completed the first value-added business for frozen fish fin processing in March 2023, with a cumulative exemption of over 1 million yuan from tariffs. The product produced in the trial production area this time is dried sea cucumber, with a weight of 5 tons, a value of over 3 million yuan, and a tariff exemption of about 270000 yuan.

Chen Guanwen, Deputy General Manager of Hainan Huanxi Import and Export Trading Co., Ltd.: The factory currently has one frozen fish fin production line and completed the construction of two sea cucumber production lines in August this year, with a monthly production capacity of up to 1 million kilograms. In the future, the company will fully leverage its rich experience in seafood processing, stable sources of goods and sales channels, increase production investment, and enrich production categories.
