The tariff adjustment plan for 2025 has been released! We will increase tariffs on imported seafood such as frozen shrimp, cod, pollock, and abalone.

Compared to the import commodity tax rates in 2024, the provisional tax rates for multiple imported aquatic products will be increased in 2025

The import tax rate for frozen warm water shrimp will be raised from 2% to 5%, and the tax rate for frozen Arctic shrimp will be raised from 2% to 5%.

The import tariff on Ecuadorian white shrimp has been raised from 2% to 4%, the tariff on Indian shrimp has been raised from 2% to 2.5%, and the tax rate on Argentine red shrimp has been raised from 2% to 5%.

The tax rate for fresh abalone has been raised from 7% to 10%, excluding countries that have signed free trade agreements with China.

The tax rate for frozen Greenland flounder, frozen flounder, frozen cod (including Atlantic cod, Greenland cod, Pacific cod), frozen Alaska narrow cod, and frozen blue cod will be increased from 2% to 5%.

In addition, China's provisional tariff on imported fresh Atlantic salmon from Norway and the Faroe Islands remains at 7%, while Atlantic salmon from Chile, Australia, and Iceland are exempt from tariffs.
