According to data from the Chilean Customs Administration, Chile's salmon exports fell for the second consecutive quarter. In the third quarter of this year, exports fell by 3.1% year-on-year, or 5.6 tons, mainly due to a 9% decrease in Atlantic salmon exports (about 13,000 tons), especially a decrease of 10,000 tons in frozen whole salmon.

According to data from the Vietnam Fisheries Processing and Export Association, in October 2024, Vietnam's seafood exports exceeded 1 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 28%. Since June 2022, Vietnam's aquatic product exports have once again exceeded 1 billion US dollars, sending a positive signal to export companies by the end of the year.

Based on this, the cumulative export value of aquatic products in Vietnam reached 8.27 billion US dollars in the first ten months of 2024, a year-on-year increase of 11.4%.
